B&B Dimora del Duomo

The breakfast was disappointing, and there wasn’t even drinking water for guests in the morning. We ended up eating in our tiny bedroom because another guest had left a wet towel and an empty breakfast plate on the dining table, with another empty plate and cup taking up the kitchen bar. There don’t seem to be house rules for the shared spaces, and guests don’t always respect them. The booking notes also weren’t clear: our bathroom was separate from the room, which wasn’t comfortable. If we’d known, we wouldn’t have booked, or would have paid more for a room with an ensuite bathroom.

The beds were extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of space. We were also impressed by the spotless rooms and all the thoughtful details, especially for such a reasonable price. The host was professional, attentive, and very polite. The apartment is gorgeous and welcoming, and it’s only about a 100m walk from the center of Benevento. Parking was convenient too. Highly recommended.

We ran into a few logistical problems, but they were sorted out quickly and with real helpfulness. The hospitality was wonderful, and the location is excellent. Our room had a spectacular view. Benevento is an interesting city, and when we return, we’ll definitely stay at Dimora del Duomo again. See you soon!

The rooms are spacious, modern, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean, with every detail carefully considered. B&B Dimora del Duomo sits right in the heart of the city, beside Benevento Cathedral and across from the remarkable Roman excavations, which give the setting a special atmosphere. Having read the reviews, I came expecting a lot, and can confirm it really is the best B&B in Benevento. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing, authentic stay in the historic center. I’ll definitely be back.
