A real part of Valtellina’s food history. The traditional local dishes are especially good, and the food and wine were both excellent. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and the service was fantastic. Ask the staff if you’d like to see the cellars. I’d recommend a visit to anyone keen to try Valtellina’s traditional cooking.

The wine cellar tour one morning was really interesting, and they were easygoing about us being a few minutes late for checkout. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a pity the restaurant has been closed for a couple of years, since we would have liked to try it.

Wine is made in the two cellar floors beneath the restaurant, in spaces that also date back to the 17th century. You can visit them if you ask. The agriturismo itself is in the historic center, in a 17th-century building that’s been renovated while keeping its original structure and bringing out the elegance of the rooms. The menu follows local traditions.

The traditional dishes at the restaurant were beautifully cooked, and the rooms were peaceful and clean. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a treat too, with homemade cakes and delicious jams. The location is excellent.
