It’s about 20 minutes from the city. The staff were really good, especially the Tunisian man, who was very helpful.

For the price, it was good value. My single room was roomy and modern, though the hotel is a bit out of the way. Breakfast was good, but I waited ages for coffee. There was a lot of music and noise from the bar downstairs on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. The sockets were awkwardly placed, and the bedside lamp couldn’t be used.

The staff were friendly, and although we had a bit of a language barrier, everything worked out as expected. Our room was cleaned daily, the towels were good quality, and there was a set of soaps. It was spotless and tidy, even if the decor had seen better years; everything was well kept. The €5 breakfast was tasty and had a good range. Mostly sweet items, but there was something for people who prefer a savory breakfast too. Great coffee. The neighborhood was very quiet, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the train station. I was pleasantly surprised by the standard for a one-star hotel and would recommend staying here.

Molla made our visit to 900 Strati - Ristorante pizzeria especially memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and personable, and the service went well beyond what I expected. I’d nominate him for an internal award for the care he puts into his work. My friend and I went there to celebrate our 40s birthdays, and I couldn’t fault the service. We stayed at Alberto Novencento hotel and will be traveling around Italy, but plan to come back before our flight home for more of the food, service, and atmosphere.
