Arli Hotel Business and Wellness

We used the spa, which is booked for one party at a time, so we had it to ourselves, and the massage therapist was great. The hotel is a bit old, but the rooms were spotless and the beds VERY comfortable. Every member of staff went above and beyond, despite our lack of Italian. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was excellent, and dinner was extremely good too. It's very central, just a few minutes from the shops and a 25-minute walk to Bergamo's old town. A real highlight for us, with nothing negative to say.

I felt right at home at Arli. The location is ideal, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. There's even a small spa. Breakfast was lovely, and the evening food was great, with a fun, friendly team. Everyone working there was welcoming, kind, and hospitable.

The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the bed and pillow were the most comfortable of our 15-day trip. The room's modern lamps looked really cool, and the hotel itself felt fresh, as if it had been updated recently. We chose it for one night because we needed to catch an early train. It's outside Citta Alta, the main tourist area, but getting there by bus and funicular wasn't too far. This area is quieter and less crowded, and definitely cheaper. Bergamo feels like a well-kept secret, less crowded and less of a tourist trap than Verona or Venice, while still being very enjoyable.

The rooms were good, and the bar was fine. The hotel is in a good spot next to a supermarket. Breakfast had no hot food, and the waitresses didn't clear the tables, which didn't look good. Still, the hotel was okay.
