The location is the one good thing about this rental. During our six days there, nobody cleaned; there was no toilet paper, and we had to buy trash bags for our rubbish. The room was really cold, and we could hear everything going on in the other rooms.

The location is good, close to the attractions, but the toilet was a problem at check-in. One bathroom had no water for our whole stay. Across the five days, nobody cleaned the apartment, changed our towels, or took out the garbage.

After two nights, we’d seen enough to know the place was badly managed, though it has potential. The owner was absent, the furnishings were sparse, and there were holes in the wall and a broken TV. The sheets were dirty and stained. Coffee was available the first morning, then never replenished. I’d stay away.

I was meant to spend one night at Casa di Sofia, but I got very sick with covid the day before. The hosts kindly cancelled my booking without charging me. Thanks again to them, and I hope I can come back one day!

The area is very hilly, but the owner was friendly, nice, and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean, and easy to stay in 😊
