Da Noi Due

The poolside balcony and roomy outdoor area look out toward the Old Town, which made this a lovely place to stay. The rooms are elegant, everything was very clean and nicely presented, and Elena was kind and helpful. Simply beautiful. Five stars from me.

Elena really made us feel at home, with attentive care and genuinely useful suggestions. We had a great stay at Da Noi Due and would return whenever we're back in Bergamo. The rooms were comfortable, had everything we needed, and were cleaned daily. Breakfast was a generous continental spread with fresh pastries each morning, and the pool was wonderful. There's parking on the property. Città Alta is under a half-hour walk away, with spectacular views along the way, or a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. We couldn't fault the place.

During my two-week stay for surgery, Elena kept in close contact and went out of her way to help me feel comfortable. The room was cozy and clean, and I appreciated the daily cleaning. Having fruit and breakfast each day was an added bonus. I've stayed at many bread and breakfast places around the world, and this has been my best experience so far. I highly recommend it, and I can't wait to return to Da Noi Due when I'm back in Bergamo for my post-op consultation. Thanks to Elena and her team, keep up the great work.

The walk to Bergamo's old town takes about half an hour, passing vineyards and olive trees, with hill views and a Roman-era bridge along the way. We wouldn't have known what a beautiful area was here if we'd stayed somewhere else. The hostess was friendly and professional, and breakfast included delicious homemade cake that was still warm. A lovely spot for getting a real feel for Italy and Bergamo.
