Dimora Del Riccio Guesthouse

We ended up staying three nights instead of two, and our dog Coco was very welcome and felt right at home. The B&B is surrounded by nature, and the Upper City is about 20 minutes away on foot or 7 minutes by car. The road in is very narrow, but our T-roc got through with the side mirrors folded in. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious, with an iron, fridge, and coffeemaker. There was bottled water, and we could use the kitchen. The bathroom also had toiletries, deodorant, Q-tips, floss, sanitary pads, and more. Breakfast is freshly homemade if you choose it. The owner is kind, friendly, and ready to help. It's a cozy, peaceful getaway, and they'll have you covered if you forget to pack something.

We visited Bergamo in April 2022 and had a wonderful stay in this quiet part of town. The owners were kind, helped us get to and from the airport, shared interesting stories about the city, and gave us useful advice. Our clean room had its own bathroom and a small balcony with a beautiful view of the city and hills. There's also a well-equipped shared kitchen. The center might seem far away, but a forest shortcut gets you to the Upper Town in 15 minutes. We were very pleased and recommend the place.

The staff, Leonora and Bepi, were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely. We had a beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed and a private bathroom outside the room. Bergamo Alta is a 15-20 minute walk away, and this is a great value option. Getting there by car was a bit challenging, with a narrow passage between two stone walls, but we made it through without scraping the car. The WiFi was a little slow, and you need to keep the windows closed if you don't want the rooster and dog to disturb your sleep.

We loved the spacious, comfortable place and its picturesque setting. It's a bit up the hill, which may be harder for older people.
