Entro le Mura

The garden was beautiful, and our host served us a tasty breakfast there. From our window we also had an amazing view. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff kept it hygienic throughout our two-night stay. Entro Le Mura is in the old city, close to good restaurants and landmarks. The host and staff were warm and friendly, communication was easy, and the host gave us advice on restaurants and transport to other cities. We had a perfect stay and would definitely come back.

Enrica was a wonderful host and made a vegan breakfast for my girlfriend and me. The historic accommodation has a large, quiet garden at the back, and our room was spacious with good facilities. It's right on the edge of Bergamo's old city, citta alta. We had some trouble at first with the online booking system, so I'd suggest contacting Enrica on WhatsApp. She replies quickly and arranging everything is much easier that way. Keep the driving restrictions in mind too, since the B&B is close to or within the old city and cars need a permit for the roads nearby. Enrica can arrange a permit and parking in a secure private car park close by.

You can arrive flexibly here, which suited someone as disorganised as me. The entrance has a code, registration can wait until the next morning, and the keys are left out. Breakfast is very good and served at whatever time you choose. The rooms are large and nicely furnished, with smart, roomy en suite bathrooms. It's a little palace just off a main street, close enough for a two-minute walk but far enough from the noise. I can't think why anyone would stay anywhere else in this beautiful city.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and everything was easy. Our bright room looked out onto the garden. We spent one night at this very cute, authentic B&B in the centre of cita alta from Bergamo. Breakfast was delicious and cost very little. Highly recommended for a lovely experience in Bergamo cita alta. 🎉
