The flat is clean and cozy, spread over two levels in the centre of Bergamo Uptown. Breakfast nearby at Café Funicolare comes with a beautiful view. But the flat has very few windows, and they're set very high up, so it's a little dark and damp.

Breakfast at the funicular café was excellent, and the apartment was clean and well kept, with facilities for cooking. The downside is having to pay two euros per hour for public parking.

The room was piled with used sheets and towels from other guests, and there were glasses full of cigarette butts. They also took a long time to come open the apartment. We had to sleep without sheets: the person who let us in said someone would come make the beds shortly, but nobody ever came. After that, despite our having paid for the room, that person stopped answering calls and messages. The whole thing was completely unprofessional. This accommodation was horrid and unacceptable. Avoid it at all costs.
