GIO'EL Happiness Guest House

We had a very comfortable stay in a quiet spot, close to shops, restaurants, and the city center. It's also near the train station, with an easy transfer from the airport. The rooms were cleaned every day and were very clean and comfortable, with lots of useful things like a hair dryer, fresh towels, and a wardrobe full of hangers. The owner was warm and open, ready to help and suggest places worth visiting in Bergamo and beyond. The staff were very good too. It's worth the price, and if we get the chance, we'd stay here again. Thanks again for your kindness and support!

The breakfast was really good, Italian style, with some salty choices like cheese, ham, and eggs. The shared hall and the bed were a little noisy, so I can't give it a full score. Still, I'd book here again.

The online rate was €94 a night when I called to reserve. Reception told me they had no room and hung up. Two minutes later, I checked again and the rate had jumped about 25%, to €114. Weird. No comment.

The owner really knows the area and clearly loves it. Her suggestions gave us a wonderful route around town and nearby, much better than what we'd planned ourselves. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and thoughtfully kept. I didn't need to ask for anything extra, which is rare for me. A lovely place, and a charming owner.
