Right in the heart of Città Alta, this place has a sense of history that stayed with me after leaving. It was built sometime in the 1400s, and Piazza Vecchia is just 20 meters away, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. There's covered parking about 200 meters away. It's not run by the hotel, but they recommend coordinating a reservation with them. The spaces were always clean and organized. The bed was excellent, though the sofa bed was fairly uncomfortable. Each day the bed was made, used towels were replaced, and water and coffee were available in the room. Breakfast wasn't extraordinary, but it was fresh, carefully prepared, well stocked with local flavors, and reasonably priced for the area. The staff are a big part of what makes this place work: always around, helpful, and smiling. The respect and kindness seemed mutual between them and the guests. I really hope we visit again.

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was fab, with lots to choose from, including gluten-free and lactose-free options. Our room was beautiful and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the windows was the best. The location is amazing, close to everything. I recommend it 100%.

We couldn't get to Bergamo because of the national railway strike, even though we had a reservation. I called just a couple of hours before check-in, and the receptionist kindly understood and cancelled it without a fee. I'm extremely grateful for that, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for a future stay.

We had a lovely superior room facing the front of the hotel, and the continental breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. The breakfast room was relaxing, with a special view to the rear and an outlook onto the street at the front. The hotel was beautifully presented and fully air conditioned. Reception was staffed around the clock, and nothing was too much trouble. They gave us restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. My husband and I were glad we chose it for our recent visit to Bergamo. Excellent location and highly recommended.
