At Le Funi Hotel, the staff showed the warmth, experience and real commitment to guest care that so many hotels and businesses seem to lack these days. I made countless requests and exchanged lots of emails. Every time, caring professionals came back with a smile, thoughtful answers and genuinely useful help.

The room was spotless, modern, clean and well equipped, and I have no criticism at all. The manager was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful, even arranging dinner bookings for us. Great value for the price!

Bledi Taipi at the front desk deserves a special mention. He was really kind and always glad to help with anything we needed. The whole team was attentive, eager to assist and genuinely caring throughout. A great hotel, and I’d definitely recommend it.

This was my second time here, and I’ll be back again. I slept really well in a comfortable room, and the hotel was spotless throughout. The location is perfect, near everything but still quiet enough for a restful stay. Reception made check-in smooth and pleasant, and the restaurant team were friendly and attentive too. I also appreciated the lovely birthday treat, such a thoughtful touch that made the visit more memorable. Highly recommended!

I loved room 202 and will ask for it again. It’s on the second and top floor, at a corner of the building, with four windows and spectacular views. There’s even a window in the bathroom, and plenty of sunlight. The room is modern, efficient, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast feels like eating in a welcoming, cozy family home, with a generous selection and great coffee. I wrote to management in advance to ask for oak milk, and they accommodated me. Their email replies were exceptional too, always quick and willing to help. By the time I arrived, it felt like I’d already been enjoying their hospitality. Le Funi is a gem, charming, well located and with great service, a fitting stay for the distinctive city of Bergamo. It’s in Bergamo's città alta, close to the walled historic city and within walking distance of the steeper lanes, exclusive homes and views. Stairways, walks inside the walls and paths around their perimeter are all nearby. Since the hotel sits just outside the fortified walls, away from the tourist crowds, it’s quiet and feels exclusive. You can join the city’s activity or enjoy the quiet from a distance.
