We first stayed at the Petronilla Hotel in Bergamo in 2024, when family members visited, and came back in fall 2025. We fully intend to return again. The room was quiet, comfortable and well equipped, and the location is central, with shops and restaurants a short walk away. Breakfast was a treat: omelets made by a staff member, plenty of fruit and pastries, plus hot drinks. The staff are fantastic and always ready to help with whatever comes up.

Rebecca at the evening front desk deserves a special mention. She was wonderful about suggesting restaurants, sandwich shops, places to see and more. We spent three nights at Petronilla in Bergamo, and the room, location, breakfast and staff were all fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.

We only had one night and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Petronilla is spotless, thoughtfully designed and has good amenities, but the staff are what make it so special. Rebecca and Francesco looked after us with so much warmth and professionalism. It was the perfect stay, and I’d come back to Bergamo just to stay here again. Grazie mille! ❤️

We were there for just one night, but it was a great experience and we’ll definitely return. The hotel is cosy, and I really liked the interior design. Erica, from reception, was extremely nice and friendly, and recommended an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was good too, though there’s room to improve it.
