We’re driving around Italy for a month and wanted a couple of days with some pampering and golf. That’s what we got. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and both breakfast, thanks to Enzo, and lunch were excellent. We had fun on the golf course, which has great bones, even with strong winds for both rounds. I only wish the rental clubs were a bit more up to date, but, as they say, it’s not the arrow, it’s the Indian! Ha ha. Highly recommend.

The countryside is idyllic, and our stay at Metaponte Golf & Country was wonderful. Our (tiger woods) room was spacious and lovely, and the staff were friendly and so accommodating. We’d love to come back soon. Highly recommended if you enjoy golf or want a peaceful countryside stay.

A nice place with nice staff, though I thought the €75 green fee was rather expensive for the features and technical challenge of such a flat course.
