I’m American, and staying in a different country in Italy was stressful enough. The staff at La Corte made me feel welcome and were very friendly. I stayed for five weeks, and if I ever get back to Italy, this is where I’ll stay.

It’s right in the center of town, and overall a quaint place. The windows are small, but luckily the air conditioning works. Breakfast was disappointing, just packaged snacks, and the restaurant was closed. There was also a lot of noise on the patio in front of the rooms in the evenings.

The hotel is in an old stable and the location is decent overall. There were some missing details: no mirror in the bathroom and no soap dispenser in the shower. Breakfast was very poor, just packaged croissants and toast.

The atmosphere was welcoming and the prices reasonable, but the food left a lot to be desired. The seafood risotto for two was very salty and greasy with oil. The mixed fried food seemed to have been cooked in overused oil, was extremely salty and inedible, and the chips were the same. The worst part was seeing waitresses constantly smoking or fiddling with their smartphones during service, then going down to the kitchen to finish dishes without washing their hands. If this is the standard, I can only advise against it.

The property was very quaint, and my room was spotless. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for the price!
