Hotel Residence I Pitagorici

Really good!

A good choice in both summer and winter. It’s close to the main street and the covered square, where you can try local products.

The welcome was warm, the apartment was clean, and the central location made it easy to find free street parking nearby. It’s right in the center of Bernalda near the main street, with mostly bars and restaurants around. We were looking for two double bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen, and were told this was a small apartment with that setup. What we found was a family room: the bedrooms connect through a very thin partition and sliding door, and one room has no window. An air conditioner doesn’t make up for that. This layout wasn’t explained in the descriptions and wasn’t clear in the photos on the booking sites. We were told all the apartments were like this, so changing places wasn’t an option. Guests need clear information and photos to decide whether a place suits their needs. That’s basic professionalism.

The owner is consistently kind and helpful, and the B&B is lovely, clean, and welcoming. Its rooms are roomy mini-apartments in good condition, just a short walk from the main street and its restaurants, pizzerias, and other places. I’d recommend it to families.
