The rooms are large and comfortable, with an old world feel, and the restaurant is phenomenal. My complaint is about access to the old city. The hotel desk told me they had an arrangement with local police allowing cars in to load or unload luggage. I was surprised to get a 107 Euro fine. I told the hotel, but they did nothing. I wouldn’t trust promises about an arrangement with the police, and I don’t expect the hotel to help if the police show up. Despite how lovely the place is, I won’t stay again.

The hotel has a long history and is beautiful inside and out. Our host was so friendly. We also needed breakfast very early, and that was no problem. It was served in a peaceful spot in the garden.

Redibis is just across the beautiful courtyard, in what used to be a Roman Amphitheater. Don’t miss the restaurant, the food, staff, and atmosphere felt like a fairy tale, just like the hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with large, elegant rooms that are still very comfortable, lovely showers and big bathrooms, and stunning views from every room. It’s also very quiet at night and has all the modern amenities you could need. We felt very lucky to stay here in Bevagna. Laura, the owner’s daughter, greeted us and showed us around with so much passion and enthusiasm, explaining the hotel’s history. It has been in her family since the 1500s, and being part of that story was really touching. She’s a wonderful spokesperson for the business and its past.

The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. The bed was okay, though not the best, and the stairs may be uncomfortable for some. Breakfast in the post-Covid setup was a bit awkward, but we managed.
