The food was a pleasant surprise, and the whole place felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. It was clean and cozy, with an atmosphere that made it easy to relax and feel at home. I had a great stay and would come back.

My favorite moment was my wife asking for the wine list and being told, “I am the wine list.” It was like a sweet version of Heisenberg. The tasting menu is a great way to sample the valley, and the portions are generous enough that they might feed two. Expect to get through a lot of bread too, especially with the lady of the house's huge olive oil collection. Wonderful food, charming accommodation, and lovely furry friends.

The view is a lovely extra, but the food is what stays with me. One of the best meals we've ever had. Chef Mossimo is an artist, and both the risotto and gnocchi were fabulous. The recommended appetizers were something special, and Ana's wine suggestions were spot on. Don't miss this place.
