The location is wonderful, with greenery all around, and the farmhouse is spectacular. The hostess was kind. The room and bathroom were a little stuffy, unfortunately, but I’m still glad I stayed there.

The bed was wonderfully comfortable, even for someone like me who has back pain, and the restored furniture and well-finished details, including in the bathroom, were lovely. This old farmhouse is only minutes from Bibbona, surrounded by greenery, and feels like Brittany when you arrive. The road is well lit at night, and the owner gives clear directions so arrival is easy. It’s ideal if you like quiet, simplicity, and the feel of an earlier time. There are mosquito nets, though we strangely didn’t find insects out in the countryside, and the fan works well. The air conditioning has been thoughtfully placed by the front door so cold air doesn’t blow on you in bed. At breakfast, the lady who welcomed us served typical Tuscan food, including spectacular fig jam, and told us about the farmhouse and her family, which made us appreciate the home even more. We also liked being away from Marina di Bibbona’s bustle but only a few minutes’ drive from it, with the countryside around us. It’s a good base for Bolgheri or trying a different beach each day. We’ll definitely be back!

The lady who runs the farmhouse is very kind, and breakfast was generous. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a functional bathroom. The country house is beautiful and surrounded by nature. You reach it along a dirt road, but it’s not difficult. What stays with you is the peace and quiet. We’d definitely return. We were on a motorcycle trip as a couple.
