Giorgia was so kind and attentive to what we needed, and we had a great experience with the agency. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and better than we expected, especially compared with other places we’ve stayed in the same area.

We remembered Marina di Bibbona from childhood bike rides through the "Pinetona": back then it was wild and seemed to have just three houses. It’s changed a lot, but is still green and peaceful. The beach is very wide, with both public stretches and bathing establishments, and the water is clean and beautiful, though it gets deep quickly, much like at Marina di Cecina. With a bit of a walk, you can still find the wild beach I remembered. The Jolly Beach resort we chose was very good for my 86-year-old father too, with an excellent restaurant and fireworks visible from the terrace. We booked an apartment for August 6-20, 2022, with our medium-sized dog. Back in March we’d tried the more prestigious Marina di Cecina, but every agency offered us awful, overpriced apartments that had to be rented for exactly two weeks. This year a relaxing holiday sounded better. The Bibbona agency was friendly, capable and flexible. They understood our needs right away, including my father, our dog, privacy and our 20-year-old son, and checked promptly whether the owner would allow a dog. Rentals could be weekly, rather than fixed to August 1-15. The first apartment they offered was perfect. We’d had a disappointing earlier experience there, with an unkempt garden, old mattresses and dirt, but when we came back in August it felt like a different place: the garden was immaculate, the shared pool was in excellent condition and easy to access, the lifeguard was very friendly, the mattresses were brand new and changed, and the condominium was cleaned perfectly every morning. The town center is somewhat small and unpretentious, and the location suits all ages. There are lots of excellent restaurants, welcoming service, and dog owners were careful to clean up after their pets, with waste bins everywhere. Parking wasn’t a major problem despite the peak season crowds. The value for money was excellent. Thank you all. Enrico & Rosa

The apartment has a spacious terrace and a rooftop solarium with a shower. The air conditioning and washing machine both work, and the beach is wide and sandy, about a 15-minute walk away. Parking is very limited. We found a spot, but haven’t moved the car since. I booked through the agency’s website after seeing they accepted Labradors: a two-room apartment for two adults, a child and a dog, August 10-24, for €1,680, with a €500 deposit. My stay is still underway. When we arrived, we had to pay the full agreed price before seeing the apartment. A man took us on his scooter to the steps at lot C4 no. 216, but didn’t get off or come inside with me to check it. The place hadn’t been cleaned as agreed. I called the agency, and they sent the cleaners back. It’s also poorly maintained, so basic cleaning is lacking: the fridge compartments are dirty and look hard to clean, and the dish drainer is caked with limescale. The electrical system can’t handle the air conditioning and boiler at the same time, or either with the kitchen, so the power cuts out. The cooktop is electric, but you can’t use more than one burner at once. We had to make the sauce first and then the pasta, and it still took 45 minutes to boil three pots of water.

Giorgia and Valentina were excellent, very patient, and Liviano was helpful and friendly. They’re serious and reliable, and their summer apartments near the sea are beautiful and well kept. They also keep looking after clients after the rental, and are much more attentive to people’s needs than other agents in the area. Highly recommended, well done!
