The staff are really friendly, though they struggle to explain the accommodation. The place is clean but feels dated, and the double bed is tiny and uncomfortable. Hot water in the shower lasts about two minutes, so we ended up using the shared campsite showers. There’s no oven or dishwasher, and the pool can run short of loungers. The bar isn’t up to much either. For the price, I expected a lot more, and don’t think it was worth it.

The pool was much too small for the number of people and extremely dirty. On one day of the week there was no lifeguard, so in an emergency you’re left relying on Providence. The entertainment for little kids amounted to a few songs at the same baby dance each evening. For some reason the children jumped around on stage, at risk of falling, while the tired, unmotivated entertainers danced below it. Our two-week bungalow in high season was in terrible shape. There were cracks, crevices, mold, broken and chipped floor tiles, and a strong musty smell whenever we shut the doors and windows for even a short time. It wasn’t clean when we arrived. Moving the bed exposed more mold and dust, and I had to insist on getting it cleaned at 10 PM after the toilet drain was finally cleared by taking the toilet apart. The work took maintenance staff a whole day, and the place was disgusting in the meantime. Ants came out of the door frames, cobwebs hung in the high corners, and furniture had stains, drips, and damaged laminate. The old appliances were rusty and unreliable, doors wouldn’t close because their frames were out of square, and things kept breaking from what seemed like a complete lack of maintenance. The manager called it “bad luck.” The air conditioning was broken too. After several repair attempts, staff decided to replace it. The bungalow couldn’t be used from 2 to 8 PM, and the removed outdoor unit was covered in rust. The camping pitches were a free-for-all, with no shared rules and every pitch doing its own thing. Caravans were built into fences, with odd wooden or plastic railings. It felt like a nomad camp decorated with nautical lights and hooks. Some emergency and fire safety equipment was affected by weather, cobwebs, and overgrown vegetation, another sign of poor upkeep. At the restaurant, waits dragged on despite there being only a few tables. The food seemed to be made with clearly frozen fish, and the kitchen was badly organized. Once, after we’d already waited an hour from ordering, we were asked to switch to pizza. There was no quiet period for an afternoon rest. You only seem to get anything after getting angry and losing your patience. Management seemed more focused on making money than providing the services advertised on the website, and you have to pay in full at check-in. If I’d got one euro for every time someone said “We’re sorry,” I could have paid for the whole holiday, if you can call it that.
