I was there in March 2025 and, even though I was the only guest, the hosts laid out a generous breakfast with sweet and savoury food, plus espresso and espresso drinks, including decaf. It was tasty and kept me full. My room was in the building beside the historic farmhouse, with a big comfortable bed, effective heating, an electronic massage table, a one-person sauna, a hot tub and a bathroom. Each day the room was cleaned and reset carefully, with my belongings left undisturbed. The restaurant the owners also run was closed for the winter, so I couldn’t eat there. I did enjoy choosing a Tuscan wine in the shared area, with options from Bolgheri, Maremma, Alta Maremma and Costa Toscana, among others. The room fridge also had white wine, still and sparkling, and beer for sale, while water was free. The shared space has some lovely history about the Etruscans, and the owners can suggest things to do and places to eat in town or farther afield. The property is at the end of a roughly 200-metre drive through an olive grove. Bibbona’s centre and restaurants are about a 10-minute walk away, with around three restaurants open year-round. Driving is another option, and parking in town is easy. There are about 10 parking spaces right beside the building, included with the stay.
