After checkout, when I returned the keys, the staff wouldn't give my cash deposit back. I had to go to the local police department before the problem could be resolved. There are no cameras in the agency's office, so I'd strongly recommend recording every interaction with them. The apartment was damaged and dangerous, even though we'd booked it for ourselves and three small children. There was broken glass in the kitchen door, loose electrical cables hanging in the kitchen, and crumbling cupboard doors under the sink. We contacted the agency as soon as we arrived and found the problems. They promised help, but nothing was actually done during our 11-day stay. A really nasty experience, the worst I've had.

We were robbed this week at Calligher apartment number 4. While we were out, someone got into the apartment with a spare or duplicate key and took cash, watches, and personal belongings. We reported it to Sabina's reception, but they showed no interest in resolving it. The police couldn't help because the lock was intact. We believe it had to be someone with a current or former connection to this agency. A huge disappointment. I recommend avoiding them at all costs. Karma is free.

At Via Stella polare 15, the apartment was quite dirty, and we had to leave a €50 deposit in case we left it dirty when we checked out. There was no toilet paper, soap, toilet towel, blanket, wifi, or kettle. The towels and bed sheets cost extra, with no exact prices shown on booking.com, just a note about an extra fee. It was €8 for a double bed set, €6 for a single, and €5 per person for towels. We were also charged another €4 for a contract, which wasn't listed on booking.com. I've stayed in booking apartments all my life and had never been asked to pay that before. Fraud! It was hard to find the building because you have to go into the yard, which nobody told us. The number 15 was difficult to spot because it was written on the stairs, not on the building. Number 17 is the first floor, while 15 is on the second and third, so we had to go upstairs to figure it out. The small room was divided from the neighbors by a glass partition that blocked neither light nor noise. We couldn't sleep all night because they were talking loudly. Not recommended.

The apartment itself was clean and nice, but the agency staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. There was no electricity, and they expected us to switch the fuses in the main and auxiliary electrical cabinets. That might not have been such a problem if they'd explained it politely. Instead, the clerk kept talking on the phone in a raised, nervous voice. I wasn't willing to touch the fuses for the whole building. Eventually someone came to the apartment, and we paid €30 for the callout. It felt like a way to take money without giving an invoice.
