We expected two rooms with a double bed in each after searching for ages, and were so happy to find this apartment. That excitement disappeared as soon as we arrived. Only one room had a double bed; the other had two singles. That setup was available for €200 less, but we paid €200 more for two double beds. It felt like a complete rip-off. The single beds were fastened together with cable ties. The room wasn't clean when we arrived, and the air conditioning didn't work properly. The location near the sea and town center was good, and the staff helped clean the air conditioning unit. That's what the one star is for. We were promised a refund for the days without working air conditioning, but received nothing at check-out. We also had a power outage at about 8:30 pm, when of course nobody could be reached, and had to wait until the agency opened at 9:30 the next morning. We were told outages like this happen quite often. Apparently the air conditioner, washing machine, and hairdryer shouldn't run at the same time. They could have told us that and explained where the fuses were. We searched the whole house that evening, and eventually found that the fuse box was outside. The fridge was useless without power, and we'd bought groceries for the whole week that day. On top of that, ants got into the double room and we had to deal with them ourselves. The shower drain was clogged, and mold had grown in the cubicle and on the curtain. We bought a plunger there, cleaned the siphon, and cleared the blockage ourselves. And why can't you leave a Booking.com review three days after departure? Never again!

We paid €200 extra for the larger 78 sqm apartment, described as having two bedrooms with a double bed in each. The cheaper option was 55 sqm with two bedrooms, one double bed and two singles. But we got the smaller place instead, and even measured it ourselves. When we complained, they insisted it was the right apartment and tied the two single beds together with cable ties (!!!). It was 36 degrees and the air conditioning didn't work until the next evening. They first said it was only a problem with the control panel, then finally sent a technician after we pushed, and he got it working. That same evening, the power went out until the next morning, leaving us without air conditioning in the heat again. They charge €10 per day for the air conditioning!!!! There was no emergency number and nobody answered. After keeping us on hold for ages, Booking.com simply hung up. The next morning customer service finally got in touch and said it was normal for the power to go out if we used a hairdryer or washing machine while the air conditioning was running. Nobody had warned us or told us where the fuse box was, even though we searched everywhere. He was out of the house then... The fridge stopped too, and we'd just bought groceries for the whole week's vacation. There was also a whole trail of ants in one bedroom, not just a few. We were promised a discount, mainly because the air conditioning had failed, but got nothing. I've probably forgotten something, but that's the rough summary.

The property is lovely, with a good location near both the sea and the city center, parking, a terrace, elevators, and cleanliness. The main issue is the external air conditioning unit on the large terrace. When it's running, you can't use the terrace.

The beach and center are both nearby. The accommodation was good, with air conditioning and a big balcony.
