The one good thing is the central location, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The apartment itself was awful: dirty throughout, with old furniture falling apart. The mattress slipped off the bed, the sheets kept coming off, the shower handle was ripped away so you couldn't hold it, and the toilet was positioned so awkwardly that using it was a serious problem. There were no cleaning tools at all, which was a real issue over a two-week stay with sand coming back from the beach. It was extremely unfriendly for kids. Holes in the balcony terrace were large enough for a child under 4-5 to slip through and fall, so we couldn't leave the balcony doors open for air or relax outside over dinner without worrying about an injury. The elevator is supposed to fit four people, but a middle-sized man, luggage, or a stroller made it too cramped. With a full-sized newborn stroller, rather than a golf type one, we had to carry it up and down the stairs. There was no free Wi-Fi, and the internet was limited and prepaid, so watching TV or listening to music wasn't possible. The TV had only Italian channels. The agency said kids' channels were from 40 up, but there were only two of them. The agency service was terrible too. You couldn't collect or return the keys when you needed to. After travelling 8-10 hours with kids, we had to sit around waiting for the agency staff to come to work. When I complained about the apartment, the agency lady got seriously upset and didn't even say "bye". Instead, she called Booking and tried to influence the review.
