The apartment was in a handy spot near plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars, and only about a 5-minute walk from the beach. It was modern, newly furnished, and very clean on arrival. When the air conditioning stopped working once, a technician came right away and fixed it. The rooftop pool was great for a cool dip, though the old whirlpool could do with replacing. You need to bring just about everything: bed linen, towels, dish towels, sponges, dish soap, and other cleaning supplies. There were dishes, plates, pots, and pans, but all quite small, and no wine glasses, so we bought some. I don’t understand who enjoys the beach there. It’s packed, the sea is dirty, and you can’t see anything. At the front, where the parasols end, you’re only allowed to lie on a towel, with no camping chair or parasol. Security even made us leave our chairs 😂. A tip: we found a peaceful spot at Lido del Pini, about a 25-minute walk away, or an easy drive. There’s parking there, but it costs money.

We picked up the keys very quickly at Agenzia Marina, and the man who helped us was really friendly. Big compliments to Agenzia Marina. The apartment itself was modern and very clean, right beside the shopping street in a central location.

A pool and hot tub on the roof are a lovely extra, and there’s underground parking. The beach and town center are both just a short walk away. We’ve been visiting Bibione since childhood, and this is one of our favorite places to stay. One annoyance: some guests get into the elevator soaking wet, then you end up with wet shoes and track dirt back into your apartment.

The modern look, good location, and elevator earned it two stars from me. But the room hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. The table was stained, and there were stains on the floor outside. We only had a small dustpan, no mop or broom, so we had to borrow those from the neighbors. There’s some kind of liquid leaking from the fridge, and it smells bad. Cooking is a pain too: the pan is deeply scratched and its coating has worn off, so everything sticks even with plenty of oil. We’re on the floor below the pool, and from 8 a.m. we can hear people shifting loungers and swimming.
