That big balcony and the location were the best parts. It was easy to get around, there was a parking spot in the courtyard, and the receptionist was really friendly. But we stayed eight days and were seriously disappointed by the cleanliness. The shower was dirty, there was residue from earlier guests in the soap dish, the bidet had urine on it and smelled strongly, and the sink was coated with toothpaste. The dishes in the cupboard were dirty too. The fridge was filthy and smelled bad. They offered to send a cleaner when I asked, but I turned that down and cleaned it myself with supplies I’d bought. For €80 in final cleaning, I expected the apartment to actually be clean. The mattresses were old and worn, with the springs right underneath you, and the bed frames creaked whenever anyone moved. There wasn’t a broom, bucket, or vacuum. We also paid €20 for Wi-Fi for two devices for September 10th to 18th, but it stopped working on September 17th. No toaster or kettle, either.

The people at Agenzia Marina were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in apartment 12 and were really pleased with it. Each room had its own air conditioner, and the furniture felt fairly modern. Even the kitchen had an induction cooktop, which is unusual in Italy, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Our balcony looked toward the party area, but with the double-glazed windows shut we couldn’t hear anything. It was also huge, with plenty of room for breakfast with the whole family. Nothing about the apartment gave us cause to complain.

Shedir sits right beside an arcade, so there’s a lot of noise. With the windows closed, though, the apartment is well insulated and you can hardly hear the music. The apartment itself is attractive, modern in design, and well equipped, and the big balcony is lovely for evenings with family or friends. We did find it very dirty when it was handed over. Water also leaked from the air conditioner and collected on the balcony. A few basics were missing too, including enough blankets and cutlery.

The beach and the main shopping street are both just a short walk away, and the apartment has lots of room: two bedrooms, a sofa bed, and two bathrooms. We’ve been coming to Bibione since we were kids, and this is still our favorite place to stay. We’d definitely book it again.
