Laguna Park Hotel

The reserved beach shack and table for the whole stay meant we never had to hunt for a spot, and the hotel is only a two-minute walk from the beach. Restaurants and a supermarket are nearby. There’s underground parking, although finding a space can be hard when the hotel is full. We really liked the pool, including the kids’ pool with jacuzzi, and the play area was okay. The evening shows and mini disco were a highlight. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, the air conditioning worked great, and the restaurant staff were supportive. The man serving us there was especially kind. The rooms felt a bit small, and there wasn’t much of a view. At these prices, I’d expect a daily bottle of water instead of having to buy it at the supermarket. They also gave us separate cards for the room, beach, and safe, when one card could ideally handle everything. Still, I strongly recommend it for a relaxing beach holiday with kids.

The kids’ area was disappointing too. Since 2019 it hasn’t changed: there’s no outdoor play space, just a bare indoor room with a few plastic toys and old mattresses. We’ve been staying at Laguna many times since 2019, but the quality took a noticeable turn for the worse this year. Breakfast was very limited, mostly poor-quality sweet food, stale pastries, and no variety in the cold cuts or cheeses. The cappuccinos were inconsistent, sometimes made with fresh milk, other times with a powdered-milk taste. The scrambled eggs and bacon were badly prepared. Restaurant service was slow and disorganized, and we missed the friendly staff from previous visits. The price no longer seems worth it to us. We’re not sure we’ll come back unless there are major improvements.

We stayed five days with our one-year-old, and it was a really nice, kid-friendly place. The rooms were clean and looked like the pictures. Our beach beds were reserved for us, so we didn’t have to compete for a spot. Dinner was mostly seafood, and it was delicious. At the pool bar, they seemed to ignore us, and several times we left without food or drinks. Irene at reception was the loveliest. Sebrina and Veronica at the restaurant, thanks for being so kind, friendly, and playful with our kid. Wishing you both the best.

The beach is kept really clean, and the area around the hotel is pleasant. It’s a nice 4-star hotel in Bibione Pineda, with fewer people around and no disco close by. Good for families with kids, but also a peaceful choice compared with other Adriatic spots.
