The apartment was really dirty and smelled bad. There were several hairs in the fridge, and the top was black with dust. They charge €100 if you don’t want to clean it yourself. They don’t seem to check when you leave, though, so you don’t have to do it. The listing mentioned a microwave, grill, and kettle, but none of them were there. For about the same price, you could stay in a hotel by the beach. I wouldn’t go here.

It’s a nice, lively place. Don’t come expecting peace and quiet, though it isn’t as disturbing as the town center.

The front garden and pool were the only small positives. You’re made to leave the pool at 1 p.m. for two hours of quiet time. The apartment was a big disappointment. It smelled bad, with mold and mustiness everywhere, and it was so dirty I didn’t want to put things in the closet or touch the curtain. The curtain was filthy and covered in dead mosquitoes. The kitchen had almost nothing, just two spoons and no bowl, and there were no electrical sockets where we needed them.
