Aparthotel Olimpia

The only real drawback was parking. There aren't enough spaces, so unless you get lucky, you have to use a paid spot nearby for €10 or €12 a day. We were able to check in at 11:30 a.m., which was a big help. The family suite had plenty of room, a fully equipped separate kitchen with a sofa, and comfortable beds; it was cleaned daily. The hotel provided a baby cot and beach towels at no charge. Breakfast was great, and the four-course dinners were delicious, with fish and seafood every day and a kids' menu. The staff were friendly and very professional, and the beach with the hotel's own sunbeds is just 100 metres away.

It was a great place for cycling with kids, and I had a good time overall. The hotel has more rooms than parking spaces, though, so I paid €10 a day for public parking. I think the hotel should share the cost of a spot at the nearby Zenit parking place when its own parking is full. They could also add more hotel bicycles. Some are available for guests to use for free now, but they're sometimes all taken.

For a three-star hotel, the rooftop pool is a real highlight. It was lovely for cooling off before or after a sunny day at the beach, which is only about 300 metres away. The rooms have air conditioning, a TV, and a fridge with a hotel bar, and there's a good breakfast selection each day. The service was perfect, and the staff were always supportive, friendly, and kind. I've never eaten this well in Italy. The only weak point is that there aren't enough parking spaces for all the guests' cars.
