Palace Hotel Regina

Our room was small, but clean and perfectly fine for sleeping. The hotel is in a great location, parking is available, and the staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent.

The location was amazing, the lobby was beautiful, and breakfast was really good. The TV didn’t work, and when we mentioned it, we were told lots of guests had complained. The fridge was disgustingly dirty, and the receptionists were standoffish. One was even rude.

It’s a nice small hotel in a very touristy area, with some highs and lows. The location is great for the beach and town center, and the breakfast had lots of choices. The room and facilities were clean, apart from a dead bird by the pool that stayed there for hours. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, though the receptionist at check-in and check-out was rather unfriendly. The other receptionists were accommodating. The owner or general manager was around but didn’t make eye contact or greet anyone. The town and beach were crowded with Germans, Austrians, and Scandinavians. It’s a nice place for what it is, but don’t come expecting to find Italians.

The rooms were simple and clean, while the lobby and other shared spaces felt luxurious and just right for a beach holiday. The surroundings and the hotel itself were lovely, and I’d happily stay again. It’s close to downtown, with lots of restaurants, and only a two-to-three-minute walk from the beach.
