Residence Laguna Piccola

The apartment itself was a big letdown, even though the building is in a great spot and Bibione has everything you need for a sandy Adriatic holiday. We paid for seven days but left after five, and we won't stay in this building again. We were in Europa Tourist Group's apartment for five. We've relied on the office for years and have found them professional and dependable, but this place fell below what we usually expect. The bathroom was the one comfortable part, and it had been renovated. The outside windows and doors were rotten, with gaps you could see through. During a storm the wind came in. Since the doors opened outward, we couldn't lower the shutters while the terrace doors or windows were open. We had to choose between shutting ourselves in and using the air conditioning, or leaving the room unshaded. The balcony was so small that only two people could sit at the little plastic table, with no room for a third chair. There were insects on the kitchen-living room wall in the evenings. I assume they came from the rotting shutters, which were also sagging halfway down. The large refrigerator seemed to have been good quality once, but its door was rusty outside. The wall beside one window and the whole kitchen ceiling were soaked, with peeling plaster. Getting to the apartment was chaotic. We tried every corridor before finding it because there was no floor plan posted, the numbering was incomplete, and it made no sense. The numbered parking spaces were assigned to apartments and shaded.
