Residence Smeralda (BIB665)

A really good place to stay. The owners were helpful and flexible.

The location is great for getting to the sea. The apartment is small, but cozy, and six people can manage with one bathroom if they stay organized. One small suggestion: a soap dish in the shower would be useful for guests who don't use bottles.

We were seven, and the place worked for what we needed. The location was spot on: the beach was about 80 m away, the pedestrian street only a few minutes on foot, and a shop no more than 500 m away. The cramped parking area had one marked space per accommodation and was partly behind a barrier. People could still walk in and out, but I felt our car was safe. The AC cooled the rooms well, even with all the doors left open. The kitchen was small but had the basics for an overnight stay. We only had one roll of toilet paper for seven people and seven nights, no hand sanitizer, and about 5 ml of dish soap for the week. We sorted those things out easily. We didn't need much, and it suited us.

The bathroom could use more storage, and the welcome supplies were sparse: one toilet roll, a disposable kitchen cloth, one bin bag, and a single use of dishwashing liquid. Still, we had a good stay and would happily come back since we don't need much. We were seven and settled into the apartment better than we expected. Having two balconies facing different ways was nice, and the beach, shops, and pedestrian street were all walkable. The little kitchenette was equipped well enough for one-pot meals. There's also a lift in the building.
