Residence Valbella Beach

Unbelievable. Instead of proper sheets and blankets, we got some sort of crepe-like covering that wouldn’t stay on the bed. Maybe it’s meant to make changing the beds easier and avoid washing, but we couldn’t find any blankets. The only warm ones we found had no covers, and I don’t even want to think about how many people had slept in them. The room they first gave us had a sofa bed and was falling apart. After we complained, we had to pay another 100 euros for an apartment with beds for everyone. One person still had to sleep on the couch, though at least that one wasn’t broken. We wanted to leave that day. The place was completely ruined for us, and the furnishings looked like they were from the 80s. We were also surprised that the apartment equipment was locked in a closet right in front of us, so we had to buy everything ourselves. Maybe I’m being picky, but about 1200 euros, or about 30,000 CZK, for five people at 860 CZK/day feels pretty pathetic. Still, even that could be overlooked. I just want others to know what’s going on here. I never complain, but this forced me to. We’ll never come back. 🤦🤔😟

The pool is beautiful and quiet, and it’s reserved for residence guests. There were good measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and the staff were friendly.

The service could be better.
