We stayed five nights at the end of October 2025, three adults and three kids, and were absolutely thrilled. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the resort was spotless and well maintained, and the heated pool was wonderful. The beach is close, reached directly by a well-lit path. The house had good equipment, the beds were okay, and the water heated up fast. Not much was open in October, but Lidl and Spar had what we needed. We got lucky with sunny, pleasant weather, around 15-17°C. The sea was cold, of course, but still beautiful. We wrapped up in the blankets we'd brought, went back to the pool, had a quick shower, and jumped straight into the warm water. The mosquitoes were a bit of a surprise for that time of year, so bring repellent! 🙂

It's quiet and feels safe, with a good location near the beach. But the price is high for what you get, and many services cost extra. Booking.com didn't explain that during booking, so it's frustrating to discover on arrival that you have to pay more. I wish everything were included upfront. There are also a lot of mosquitoes. Sometimes repellent doesn't even help. Maybe management should treat the area around the complex. Overall, the services offered don't justify the high price, especially since some are actually not there.

There are lots of food shops nearby, plus pizzerias and gelato places, though the choices beyond pizza, pasta, and ice cream are limited. The beach is just 200m away via a private path. I can't rate the beach or sea itself, as I don't like crowds or dirty water. Villaggio Mare Blu is a nice place to stay, with a lovely garden and pool. The grounds also have table tennis, lots of kids' houses and toys, and bikes for rent at 5€ a day. If this kind of coastline suits you, I recommend the accommodation. September must be beautiful here.

We really enjoyed our stay of over a week. The accommodation was very clean, the staff were courteous and always ready to help. If we come back to Bibione, we'll definitely stay at Mare Blu again. See you next time.

The heated pool is lovely in spring, and there's plenty to enjoy nearby for cycling and hiking. Bibione isn't just exciting in summer. The place is clean and beautiful, with an ideal setup for families with small children.
