We were at Villa Amelie in early March while traveling for work. The setting is lovely, right by the beach, and you can hear waves from the large backyard. It has a grilling area and nice garden furniture where you can sit in the sun. There are two apartments, both clean and stocked with the things you need for a holiday. We stayed downstairs. It was darker and less warm than the upstairs apartment, perhaps because it was off season. The radiators leaked, but the owner responded promptly and fixed the issue on the second day. There were a couple of problems. We had booked and confirmed four rooms, but at first they wanted to give us only three. We eventually got the extra room, but it hadn’t been prepared beforehand and felt a bit stuffy. Also, despite insisting and explaining that we needed an invoice for our work trip and accountant, we didn’t receive one. The stay was good overall, though the owner was somewhat rigid.

The location was great for the beach, and the people were friendly and ready to help. The apartment was just right, with a very comfortable private outdoor area, an outdoor shower, and private parking. In summer, finding parking like that is hard, even if you’re willing to pay. You barely need to bring anything. There’s everything for cooking, and when we arrived the fridge already had things in it, including water, juice, eggs, and cold cuts. I almost forgot, there are also two bikes you can use whenever you like. Summer bars are only 200 meters away for the evening. If you stay here, you’re sure to have a great, relaxing time!

We had a generous breakfast included, and the owner was friendly and ready to help. The apartment is in a two-family house, with a big garden and a large terrace. The pebble beach is about a 500m walk away. Highly recommended.
