The room was a real surprise, beautifully decorated with a tasteful mix of modern and authentic furniture, and even the bathroom had carefully chosen brands. Everything was spotless, and the water, tea, sweets and savory snacks made us feel looked after even though we hadn't met anyone in person. We arranged everything on WhatsApp and arriving late at night was easy, friendly and clear. We also found a parking space on the street we'd been directed to. Highly recommended.

Anna was such a gracious and welcoming host at Antico Monastero. She was kind, easy to reach, and happy to accommodate every request. I was very glad I stayed here and will definitely come back.

Anna was warm and hospitable, and the place itself is nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. Just remember it's cash only for now. Anna is working on adding card payments, and there's an ATM about a two-minute walk away. We parked on the street, where parking was free overnight. You can sometimes hear the neighbors in the other room, but it wasn't too loud or unpleasant, and it wouldn't stop us from returning.

Anna was a lovely, responsive host. We spent a couple of nights here and used the place as a base for Matera. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
