B&B La Torretta

The room was roomy, with a soft bed, and check-in went smoothly even though we arrived late. We stayed two days, and found the place clean and comfortable overall. There were a few drawbacks: the bathroom sometimes smelled of sewage, and the refrigerator leaked. The kitchen is extremely small, with just two plates and no basics like oil or salt, so it’s only practical for simple things such as paninis, tea, or coffee. We also had trouble finding parking. Even so, it’s a decent choice for a few days.

We were sorry to stay only one night, because this place deserved a longer visit. It’s a lovely, comfortable mini-apartment, tastefully furnished to suit the castle setting, in Bitritto’s historic center. Bari is easy to reach from here, and has become too expensive and chaotic for us. The village itself is peaceful, and I recommend staying here to enjoy it. The owner was efficient and kind from our first WhatsApp contact, and when we arrived, he came over as soon as we messaged and handed us the keys within two minutes. A genuinely pleasant surprise. Congratulations, and see you next time!

Everything was beautiful, well maintained, and nicely organized, with a fantastic location. The managers were completely available to help. Highly recommended.

It’s a shame breakfast isn’t part of the room rate. The B&B is tucked into a charming alley, and the room feels welcoming and original, with elegant touches and plenty of comforts. The bathroom is new and clean, and there’s air conditioning and a mini fridge. The entrance staircase is lovely, though access is limited.
