Thomas was a thoughtful host, and I was lucky to meet him. His restaurant tips led me to some fantastic local food. The apartment is stylish, spotless, and has everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing visit. A welcome package of Italian treats and pasta left at the door was a lovely personal touch. Each evening brought a beautiful sunset over the lake, and the view was stunning. It’s conveniently close to Como town, and having a private garage for parking made getting around much easier in this part of Italy. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back 🥳

We spent a full week here for our spring vacation, two adults and our teenagers, aged 15 and 18. There was plenty of room, and we felt very comfortable. The huge balcony was a favorite, with an amazing view from morning through the evening. Just sitting out there was a treat. The apartment had what we needed, and after a supermarket visit I could easily make breakfast. Having a parking spot worked perfectly since we rented a car. Two restaurants are within walking distance, and Como city is about 15 minutes away by car, or less, with lots more places to eat. We felt near enough to town while still getting that wonderful panoramic view, and we’re already planning to return to the same apartment.

The peaceful, comfortable atmosphere made the stay especially enjoyable, and the location worked well for exploring the city. The view over Como was breathtaking. La Casa dell’Architetto is beautifully designed, modern, and full of style, with care and architectural taste in all the details. I’d gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a special holiday stay.

A lovely experience, with a lake view that’s hard to match.
