Villa Olivo

The lake view from this beautiful property is amazing, and the spot feels special. Parking takes some effort, but the drive and finding a place to park are part of the Italian experience ;)

Villa Olivo was newly renovated, really comfortable, and had everything I needed. It was well furnished too, and there was even a little surprise in the fridge. Donatella made the late arrival easy by waiting for me, then she and her daughter helped with all my bags. She was quick to help whenever I needed anything. Thank you, Donatella. I'd highly recommend it.

I was a little suspicious at first because there weren't many reviews, but staying at Villa Olivo turned out to be a brilliant experience. The MHC team were great and very responsive, even when I messaged late.

The walk to the apartment was the hardest part for us. The easier route was being maintained, so we had quite a distance to cover on foot. It was manageable, though, and the owner kindly guided us all the way inside. There aren't services nearby, so expect to go out for about 8 to 20 minutes to reach a pharmacy or supermarket. The location is a bit out of the way, but that didn't spoil things for us. Inside, the apartment was spotless, fully equipped, and had plenty of amenities. You only need to bring food if you want to cook. The view was stunning and made for a really relaxing stay, though it gets quite dark outside at night because there are no lights. Free Wi-Fi and parking were included. Right after check-in, they sent a PDF with accommodation and Como information, including restrictions, the network password, nearby places, and suggested links and apps for finding food and other services. It truly deserves 5 stars. Thank you.
