Appartamenti Tommasini

The owner was kind and easy to reach. The apartment had all we needed for a comfortable stay, and was clean and nicely furnished. It’s just beyond the city center, in a peaceful area with a great location.

We had a really good stay, and the apartment was comfortable, pleasant, and practical. The owner was very kind. The center of Bologna is a bit far, though, and in cold or rainy weather getting there wasn’t very convenient, so we ended up taking taxis more than once. Inside, the heating ran day and night, and there was also an air conditioner, which I appreciated because I get cold easily and radiators alone aren’t enough for me. The closets had spare blankets and pillows, and a full set of towels for the other guests was laid out on the bed. The owner had also thoughtfully left us water in the fridge. We were surprised there was no bidet in the bathroom, just a somewhat awkward shower head that we had to make do with. The bed pillows could have been softer and more comfortable. Even with those drawbacks, we had a lovely time and felt it deserved four stars.

The rental was spotless and very well equipped, and we were quite pleased with our four-night stay. It was just what we wanted for a holiday, and we’ll definitely come back.

Getting into town was easy on buses A, 29, and 30, and the Cathedral is only 1,800 meters away. We even walked back once after the buses had stopped. There’s a large, lovely park nearby, and parking is available in the neighborhood with a sticker from the owner. We recommend the apartment overall, especially since its parking and position closer to the center make having a car less of a worry. The apartment itself was okay and the WiFi worked well, though the bathroom disappointed us. It was said to have been renovated, but the work looked amateurish.
