Appartamento Nosadella 2

The location made it easy to explore Bologna, and I had a good stay at Il Nosadillo Hostel. WiFi was reliable, and I appreciated the free breakfast. It was comfortable and good value, and I'd recommend it for those reasons. My concern was security: anyone can open the lockers, and I feel guests should have their own personal lockers. The luggage storage opposite the door could also be opened anytime. The code entry felt a bit sketchy to me, and I'd feel safer with keycards.

What made the stay for me was how lovely and open the people working and staying there were. The hostel has spacious rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and several bathrooms. Each morning there was a breakfast buffet with freshly baked cake, and coffee and tea were available all day. There's also a Netflix room and a book exchange with books in lots of languages. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you want a good time in Bologna!

Caterina, the owner, is an angel, and Sarah on the weekend staff is just as lovely. Nosadillo is the place to stay in Bologna: homely, relaxing, comfortable, and very well located. It's especially good if you're trying a hostel for the first time, since people connect and chat easily here. Even if you're reserved, you'll feel at ease. If you've never stayed in a hostel before, this could make you a fan. And if you already love hostels, like I do, it'll remind you why you keep choosing them.

I really enjoyed staying at Hostel Il Nosadillo. Sara and Felix do a great job keeping the place spotless and making everyone feel welcome. It's cozy, clean, and close to the city center, with a friendly atmosphere and respectful guests who are easy to connect with. Highly recommend it for a visit to Bologna!
