Paolo’s apartments are such a find right in the heart of Bologna. It was spotless and conveniently placed, with thoughtful little touches that made the holiday feel special. Everything was well stocked. Highly recommend.

We only had a minor issue with noise from other apartments, but that's Italy. Paulo was a terrific host. The rooms were well furnished and equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had high quality appliances and equipment.

The apartment itself was wonderful, warm, beautifully decorated and fully equipped, with an absolutely heavenly bed. Its location was perfect. Above all, Paolo was polite, gentle and so accommodating, going out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. For me, Casa Petronio is the place to stay in Bologna.

It felt like coming home, with all the comforts you could want. Our host met us when we arrived and helped carry our luggage a couple of blocks to our car.

We’ll definitely come back. The apartment was great and clean, but the reason to rent it is Paolo, a lovely host who did everything he could to help us.
