Customer service was terrible. They sent customers completely inappropriate messages and got angry and defensive over even minor criticism. When I asked for help canceling a booking, they refused and kept my money. They also wouldn’t let me check in, so I had to book somewhere else for the same stay. Don’t stay here.

My worst Booking.com experience, and it felt like a total scam. I booked a room and stated that I could only arrive after 10 PM. They accepted, charged the full amount, then rejected my check-in time request because check-in closes at 10 PM. They kept the booking and payment, refused to cancel or refund me, and Booking.com didn’t help either.

The room and bathroom were clean, the bed very comfortable, and the apartment’s owner was genuinely kind and helpful. It’s an apartment turned into a B&B, with prices below Bologna’s average, though there’s a reason for that. The main issue was a draft coming through a hole in the wall. Thankfully, it wasn’t too bad when we were tucked under the duvet.

Very close to the train station and a well-located B&B. The room was simple, with a shared bathroom. Soundproofing was the main problem: we could hear both street noise and trains.

The room was fine, no complaints about it. But there was no electricity until 6 PM, and nobody was at the front gate to let us in. We had to wait for another occupant to arrive.
