B&B Il Picchio

The room itself was spacious and clean, with a modern, comfortable bathroom. Those were the reasons we didn't leave, even though the place left us perplexed from the start. We stayed on September 21st and 22nd, and the photos on Booking.com didn't match what we found. The charming garden belongs to the B&B owner, who lives upstairs, so guests don't get to see it. The beautiful entrance and kitchen in the photos are part of her private home too. Our room was downstairs, reached by a concrete ramp, in what felt like a garage converted into a bedroom. The sauna listed as an available service was being used as a closet, so we couldn't use it, and no discount was offered. Parking is on the street. Construction at the house opposite meant we had to park farther along the same street. I recommend updating the misleading photos. My photos show the room we stayed in.
