My wife and I had a great stay at Posada Serena. The private suite suited us perfectly, and it was nice to have real privacy, which you can’t always count on at a bed and breakfast. Breakfast was good, everything was very clean, and the whole apartment smelled lovely. It’s also fairly close to Bologna Centrale and the airport. One thing to watch: I booked through Booking and my Genius discount wasn’t applied at check-in. I hope Booking makes up for its mistake, but booking directly on Google might help avoid that kind of surprise. Grazie mille!

We rented a car and found free parking on the side street or in a car park farther down the road. Getting into town by bus is also straightforward: the number 11 A/B stops very near the building, and the stop for the number 11 into town is a two-minute walk around the corner. It’s a little far to walk to the city centre. Nice was a friendly, helpful host. Our room had a spacious, clean private bathroom with everything we needed, and breakfast was delicious and filling.

Mrs. Eunice was so kind and ready to help with anything we needed. The family feel made it easy to feel at home instead of like a stranger in someone else’s place. The B&B was welcoming and clean, and while it’s a little outside the city center, buses serve it well, between the Vasco de Gama and Marco Polo stops. Highly recommended 😊
