Agostino was full of local and regional knowledge and had plenty of maps, brochures, and guides in different languages for guests. He gave us useful directions and information and was very helpful throughout. The rooms are in a five-suite apartment with a shared salon and dining area. We stayed in Azzuro, which was very quiet at night and comfortable, though a little cramped. It felt over-furnished, with things on nearly every flat surface. The closet was awkward to reach behind the open balcony door and a chair; it had lots of hangers but no drawers or shelves. The furniture was nice, but there was simply a lot of it. There was a large luggage stand just inside the door and a desk with a mini fridge beneath it. The TV stand looked like an antique desk. Despite the clutter, everything was very clean. Breakfast included pastries, small paninis, yogurt, fruit, coffee made to order, and a few other things. Our room also came with complimentary water and a bowl of fruit. We stayed three nights in May 2026. At first we had trouble finding the place because we mistook the lead photo for a grand palace, but a shopkeeper pointed us to the door. The location worked very well for us as keen walkers, and we could walk everywhere. At an easy pace, the train station was about 30 minutes away. It was charming, reasonably priced, and we met some interesting people.
