The room was dirty, although the location was excellent and the staff friendly. Breakfast was included, but the coffee station had no coffee, and there were cups without cutlery. The kitchenette had no table or chairs either. The lady seems to expect guests to eat yogurt with their hands, preferably standing up or sitting on the bed, and drink juice without a straw or glass.

The bed was in the kitchen, all in one room, and we paid €80 for two nights. It looked awful, and cleanliness was zero. Just being a couple of steps from the hospital isn't enough reason to open a place like this and call it a B&B.

I was anxious because the cleanliness wasn't up to my standards. We actually slept in a basement, and it's an experience I won't repeat. It was a last-minute emergency, though. This was the only place available. One star.

The owner is a warm, helpful woman, and she even provides a parking pass so you don't have to pay for parking. The place is just steps from Rizzoli and the historic centre, making it convenient for anyone staying for hospital treatment there. There isn't parking inside the house, of course. I don't think moving a few metres to find a spot is much to ask, and the lady has a parking lot just 1 metre from the front door. If you're expecting a Grand Hotel while paying next to nothing, you'll need to look elsewhere. I laugh at people who leave negative reviews because they don't feel comfortable in a B&B. If you have the money and are that picky, why not stay in a 5- or 6-star hotel? I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs to be in Bologna for procedures at Rizzoli or for other reasons.
