Bed & Breakfast Centrale

Really clean rooms with all the amenities, and handy for the train stations. Great for a quick stay, with good communication too.

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, very comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast is worth having too, served at the Bar/Tabaccheria downstairs, where you can get a pastry and coffee. I also loved the art around the B&B. It’s a great base for Bologna, just a stone's throw from the central station and around 20mins on foot from the historic centre. The prices were the best in the area too. Wi-Fi was a little weak in the rooms at the end of the corridor, which may be understandable.

Just a block from Central Train Station, and the fourth level felt very secure. My room was spotless and fine for a short stay, with a well-fitted bathroom, linens, a fridge, and a coffee maker. The host also offered a cafe and croissant at a nearby trattoria, and gave me a city map with helpful suggestions for sights and restaurants.

The room was tidy and cozy, and the owner was a nice, available young guy. B&B Centrale was convenient for our one-night stay for two, since it’s so close to the railroad station. I was disappointed to learn breakfast wasn’t available that morning. The owner addressed the inconvenience with a discount of 2.50 euro/person, which I felt was low for a B&B breakfast. Apart from that, it was a fairly good choice.
