10/10
We booked through booking just 20 minutes before reaching Bologna and got a quick reply with the information from the owner, which we really appreciated. We were there for one night and had a lovely stay. The room felt spacious enough, clean, modern, and had an Italian vibe. The bed was comfortable, and there was shampoo and nice shower gel in the bathroom. The rooms are on the first floor, and the owner's instructions made self check-in easy. I also liked the hallway, with seats and a little place to make coffee in the morning. There's no parking at the property, but street parking is available. The bus stop is close, and we took the bus to the city center, even around 11 pm. A ticket was about 1.5 euros. It's also around a 35-minute walk. For the price, comfort, cleanliness, and transport options, I warmly recommend it.

It's a good 20-minute walk into the center, but there are cozy cafes nearby for an easy start to the day. The house was beautiful and fully equipped, and the neighborhood was super quiet.

They took the money in advance, then canceled my reservation on the day I was supposed to arrive without even telling me. Beware of this lousy place and its disgusting owner. Stay away from these crooks.

A nice place and a nice AIR B&B.

4/10
The owner was helpful, and the room's TV and air conditioning were fine. The bathroom was a little small but well equipped, and the rooms themselves were good. We did have trouble with the Wi-Fi, but never mind. What disappointed me was that breakfast wasn't included, especially given the price, which wasn't cheap. In the room there was a packet of whole-wheat crackers, a packet with maybe 6-8 biscuits, and two candies for the two of us. We left it all for the next guest. In the lobby there was a fridge, a kettle, and a few tea bags or herbal teas, but no water. Maybe my expectations were high because other B&Bs I've stayed at had wonderful, generous breakfasts with still and sparkling water, sweets from the buffet, and even fruit, at a lower price. I'd also seen scenic photos of this B&B. I was a bit disappointed, so my rating is 2.5.
